After searching and visiting a number of venues, the beauty of this location, the all inclusive take care of everything nature, and the lovely owner Joe, won us over. If you want to access VWR earlier than your contracted arrival time you can do so for $350 per additional hour. We got so many compliments on the venue from guests, as well. Our wedding party and some of our close friends were able to after party with out having to worry about driving on the curvy country roads at night. They offer so much to go along with the beautiful space. We tried for over an hour to open it, even knocking on the owner's door to no avail. I know that word gets thrown around a lot with weddings, but it's the truth. We had spent all weekend looking at venues in the area, but I couldn't imagine myself getting married in any of them. From the charming ceremony site with an arch of flowers framing the Texas Hill Country, to the welcoming Biergarten for friends and family to enjoy cocktails and snacks before the reception, to the stunning reception barn, and all of the grounds around the site (FIREPITS!!!! It is the perfect blend of rustic and elegance. The package also came with a day of coordinator who was perfect for executing all the details on our big day and making sure everything ran smoothly. We rented all 3 lodging options onsite for 2 nights (Bunk house, Tree house, Honeymoon suite), and we wanted her to stay in the suite by herself so she could have some privacy before the big day. Our wedding was perfect and we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. Everyone at the wedding, friends, family, and those that we're lucky enough to count as both, were just raving about the wedding at Vista West Ranch!
